DAY 1
Thursday, June 28: Improving Workplace Performance: People, Performance, and Profit
-Learn systematized professional approach to set goals for team improvement based on present level of performance
An official program of the International Society of Performance Improvement (ISPI) — earn a Performance Improvement Practitioner Certificate from ISPI.
Taught by Jim Morrison, a former US Coast Guard officer who specializes in initiating a culture of safety and reliability in high-hazard operations. In his 31 years USCG, he served in Command Afloat, Operations Afloat, Operational Test Director, and Intelligence Liaison duties.
DAY 2
Friday, June 29: Designing Learning Programs (aka Train the Trainer)
-Apply adult workplace learning theory and instructional design to the implementation and administration of training programs
Taught by Ally’s Director of Learning, Ildi Revi. Ildi has designed and conducted educator training for over 25 years for companies, educational institutions, government projects and NGO’s. She lived and worked on a coffee farm for 13 years, has been a roaster for 20 years, is a Q-grader and in the Q-instructor training corps. She managed the design and development of all the SCA courses with subject matter experts at SCA, and has delivered classes to coffee professionals around the world. Recently she instructed the Coffee Taster Flavor Wheel class at Roasters Guild Retreat to 48 participants, and assistant taught the Green Coffee Foundation course and the Defects in Coffee Roasting class.
